Biography

Rachel Barton Sollie is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in the medical field. Originally from Canada and raised in Bloomfield Hills, MI, Rachel’s educational journey began at Lahser High School, where she showcased her commitment to academic excellence.

After graduating with honors in Human Biology from the Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University in 2016, Rachel entered the healthcare workforce. She spent two years working full-time as a medical assistant in Asthma and Allergy, concurrently serving as a teaching assistant in the cadaver lab at MSU.

In 2020, Rachel earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University, furthering her expertise in healthcare. Since then, she has worked in various medical specialties, including urgent care, internal medicine, and vascular specialties, showcasing her versatility and commitment to comprehensive patient care.

In October 2023, Rachel celebrated a personal milestone by getting married. She now resides north of Rochester with her husband and looks forward to expanding her family with the addition of a new puppy. Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
